Museum of Napoleon Orda in Vorotsevichi

Napoleon Orda is a truly unique personality in the history of Belarusian and European culture. A talented musician, composer, teacher, scientist, and most importantly, an amazing artist - a master of sketches of architectural monuments, urban and rural landscapes, native places of prominent people, including Tadeusz Kosciuszko, Adam Mickiewicz, Stanislav Moniuszko ... More than 1150 watercolors and graphics created in 1840 -1880 years, almost with photographic accuracy, preserved the appearance of the sights of Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal. With special attention, the master captured ancient castles and palaces, and today the work of Napoleon Orda allows restorers in different parts of Europe to recreate lost historical monuments and restore their original appearance. Traveling around his native Belarus, the Horde made about 200 sketches of cities and towns,

A museum complex has been created in the small homeland of the artist in the village of Vorotsevichi: a biographical hall and an art gallery have been opened, nearby - in the tract Krasny Dvor - a copy of the family estate of Napoleon Orda is being erected on an old foundation. According to the project, guests will have at their disposal workshops of ancient crafts, a horse yard, a landscape park with gazebos and a pond, a cafe and a hotel.
